Dream about the Grinch.?

I had this dream a long, long time ago; around when i was 9 years old, and ever since, I’ve had this dream about once or twice a year. Here’s what the dream was like.

I was heading down into our basement, and I’d just entered the unfinished part of the basement (where the laundry-room and my dad’s small woodworking shop is. All of the sudden, a phone rang and the answering machine picked up the call. I heard the voice of “The Grinch” and then I looked over at the basement door (that opens up to a cement stairway that leads to a side yard). Anyways, I then saw the Grinch opening our basement door. I blacked out. I’m not a bad person; I’m optimistic, have friends, love to give back to my community, donate money to worthy causes and I look at myself and see a nice person. What does this dream mean?
